YOGA || Traditional Asana & Aerial

Laura teaches from connection to the mind-body relationship. Through a deep understanding of the mechanics of the body from her background in massage and personal training, her intent is for you to find a true sense of balance in her classes, mentally surrendering through physical strength. Accessible to all levels, the challenges you'll encounter become possible by standing in presence and grace. All styles of her classes are a slow flow designed to allow attention and alignment to take center stage. 

As a certified 200 HR RYT in a traditional vinyasa style and 50 HR AYT through OM Factory in New York, Laura teaches both adult and children classes of both traditional asana style practice and aerial yoga. She finds inspiration from those with whom she has had the pleasure of working including Tymi Howard, Sarahjoy Marsh, Laura Ahrens, Tara Stiles, and Jennifer Reis.

Slow Flow Yoga

Traditional style of yoga focusing on mindful transitions rooted in alignment focused postures. Laura’s slow flow is grounding and truly brings yoga to a state of moving meditation. Classes begin and end in a guided meditation. All levels welcome.

Aerial Yoga

Aerial Yoga takes the traditional ‘asana’, postures, and using silk hammocks can help support or deepen the postures. It is found to have added challenges for the total body yet also to be more accessible and supportive especially in balancing postures. Aerial yoga taps into deep core strength while building shoulder mobility and flexibility. The silks are close to the ground making it suitable for all levels.
